Our History

 The evolution of healthcare in the United States has resulted in a system that is expensive but not necessarily of high quality. Navigating and accessing healthcare can also be challenging. To address these issues, Ashland MobileMed was established to provide patients with an alternative for their healthcare needs. Ashland MobileMed offers affordable, easily accessible, and high-quality care through personalized house calls and telehealth/video visits.

**Meet Christina M. Spring, FNP-C**


Christina M. Spring is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong commitment to patient care. She graduated with honors from the University of Cincinnati in 2013 and has since built a rewarding healthcare career spanning 24 years. Christina began her journey as a State-Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) and, through determination and hard work, advanced to become a registered nurse before achieving her role as a nurse practitioner.


With 13 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, Christina has developed expertise in various areas, including Primary Care, Community Health, Retail Health, Geriatrics/Long-Term Care, Correctional Medicine, and Urgent Care. She is also certified to conduct FMCSA DOT physicals, enhancing her ability to serve a diverse patient population.


Christina is passionate about providing exceptional patient care in the Ashland community, where she lives and practices. Her dedication to her patients and commitment to health and wellness reflect her deep understanding of the communities she serves.

Travel fees: 

0-15 miles: included in visit cost

15-20 miles: $25 travel fee

20-25 miles: $50 travel fee

25+ miles: At the discretion of the provider ($100 or more travel fee)

Housecall: $125-$200 based on complexity

Telehealth visit: $50

DOT physical: $125

Male and female hormone replacement therapy:  $150 per month.


If testing is necessary during visit, this will be charged separately.

Payment for visits can be made in the form of cash, credit card, or HSA/FSA card.  

*2.9% fee for card processing. 


Ashland MobileMed does not contract with health insurance companies.  


Lab work and imaging orders can be sent to nearby facilities so insurance can be used.  


Cash discounts for labs and imaging is available if insurance is not being used.  

 

Payment for visits can be made in the form of cash, credit card, or HSA/FSA card.

  • Minor illness (examples: ear infection, upper respiratory infection, sinus infection, sore throat, urinary tract infections, pink eye, rashes, back pain, nausea/vomiting, and diarrhea.) 
  • Men's Health/Testosterone replacement therapy
  • Women's hormone replacement therapy
  • Thyroid optimization 
  • Weight Loss 
  • Annual physicals
  • DOT physicals
  • Work physicals or Work Permit physicals
  • Sports physicals
  • Chronic disease management (examples: diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, depression, anxiety, and thyroid conditions.)
  • Referrals to specialists if needed. 
  • Disease prevention and screenings. 


  • Schedule an appointment by calling/texting the office or using the self-schedule option below for initial consultation visit. 
  • At your initial appointment, Christina CNP, will go over your medical history, current medications/supplements, and current symptoms and decide with the patient what labs need to be drawn.  Labs can be drawn during this visit. 
  • While at the initial visit, Christina will schedule a follow-up visit to go over the lab results in detail with the patient and develop a plan of care and order medication if needed.   
  • Follow-up visits are typically done via telehealth and are scheduled every 1-3 months until labs are stable, then follow-ups will be every 6 months.
